Full Container Load
Suitable when cargo volume, control, packing or economics justify a dedicated container. Confirm equipment type, payload, stuffing location and whether the container can reach the factory.
JAGUAR LOGISTICS
A freight forwarder’s guide for new exporters
What your forwarder needs, what the quotation means, how booking works and what happens from factory pickup to destination hand-off.
From cargo data to delivery hand-off
A freight forwarder coordinates routes, carrier bookings, equipment, pickup, operational documents, customs hand-offs, shipment milestones and destination coordination according to the agreed scope.
Jaguar Logistics provides freight-forwarding and logistics coordination. Product eligibility, HS classification, licences, tax treatment, buyer credit and legal compliance remain the exporter’s responsibility with their qualified advisers.
Complete information = dependable planning
A vague enquiry produces assumptions. Accurate cargo data lets us compare the correct mode, equipment, routing and service scope.
Sea or air. Full or consolidated.
Cost, transit, package dimensions, weight, urgency, destination and cargo characteristics must be considered together.
Suitable when cargo volume, control, packing or economics justify a dedicated container. Confirm equipment type, payload, stuffing location and whether the container can reach the factory.
Suitable for smaller sea shipments consolidated with other cargo. Chargeable volume, minimum billing, CFS handling, consolidation schedule and destination charges matter.
Suitable for urgent, valuable or lighter shipments. Chargeable weight is the higher of gross and volumetric weight; dimensions and stackability must be accurate.
What happens after your enquiry
Each stage needs information or approval from the exporter so the next operational step can proceed.
We need complete cargo and routing data before comparing services.
We evaluate realistic options around cost, transit and cargo requirements.
The lowest headline freight is not always the lowest total shipment cost.
Written approval allows us to request carrier space or equipment.
Cargo must be safely packed, correctly marked and ready for the booked movement.
The authorised customs professional needs accurate documents before filing.
A confirmed booking can still roll if cargo or documents miss a cut-off.
The B/L or AWB draft must match the commercial instruction.
We monitor planned milestones and communicate material exceptions.
The consignee must be ready for arrival formalities and local charges.
Compare scope—not one freight number
Ask whether each cost is included, excluded, prepaid, collect, fixed or subject to actual occurrence.
Pickup, transportation, CFS/ICD/terminal handling, documentation, customs coordination and stuffing-related costs as applicable.
Ocean or air freight for the confirmed route, equipment, weight/volume and carrier service.
Local handling, delivery order, CFS/terminal, customs, duty/tax and final delivery—only where specifically included.
Storage, demurrage, detention, inspection, weighing, amendment, waiting, redelivery, congestion or other event-driven costs.
Quotation check: Confirm validity, currency, route, transit, carrier, equipment, chargeable weight/volume, origin scope, destination scope, free time, taxes and exclusions before approving a booking.
Send early. Keep every detail consistent.
Final requirements depend on the cargo, destination, carrier and customs instruction.
Buyer/seller, invoice number/date, currency, value, Incoterm, commodity and HS code.
Package count/type, marks, dimensions, net/gross weight and packing configuration.
Exporter-approved customs particulars and scheme/tax instruction for filing through the authorised process.
Cargo-ready date, pickup location, contact person, loading time and vehicle/container requirement.
Shipper, consignee, notify party, cargo description, freight term and document-release instruction.
Certificate of Origin, inspection, licence, test report, insurance or commodity-specific document where required.
Know the operational clock
Missing a cut-off can move cargo to a later vessel or flight and create additional cost.
Latest time cargo must be delivered to the nominated facility.
Latest time an export container can enter the terminal/port for the planned vessel.
Deadline for submitting Shipping Instructions for transport-document preparation.
Deadline for submitting Verified Gross Mass for a packed export container.
Estimated time of departure / arrival; these are schedules, not guarantees.
Allowed period before specified storage, demurrage or detention charges begin, subject to carrier/terminal terms.
Avoid preventable cost and delay
Most shipment disruption starts with incomplete data, late documents or assumptions about charges and schedules.
Direct answers from a forwarder
Confirm shipment-specific details in writing because carrier, route, cargo and destination conditions vary.
Jaguar Logistics can recommend a mode after reviewing cargo volume, weight, value, deadline, packing, destination and budget. The exporter approves the final commercial option.
Only if the quotation explicitly lists the complete scope. Always review origin charges, freight, destination charges, customs, duties/taxes, delivery, free time and exclusions.
No. Schedules, space and equipment remain subject to carrier operations. We communicate changes and evaluate alternatives where practical.
LCL and air freight depend heavily on chargeable volume/weight. Incorrect dimensions can change the cost, equipment need and acceptance.
Filing is completed through the applicable authorised customs process. Jaguar Logistics coordinates the hand-off through authorised specialists and should not be represented as a licensed Customs Broker unless separately verified.
As soon as the order, cargo specification and expected readiness are reasonably clear—before finalising a delivered price or promising a dispatch date to the buyer.
